Holiday Chocolate Mint Parfait
Ingredients:
- 100g of dark chocolate
- 150g of whipped cream
- 30g of peppermint extract
- 50g of crushed chocolate cookies
- 30g of fresh mint leaves
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- glass dessert cup
- mixing bowl
- spoon
- whisk
Instructions:
- Melt the dark chocolate in a mixing bowl over a double boiler.
- In another bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the melted chocolate and peppermint extract into the whipped cream until well combined.
- In a glass dessert cup, layer the crushed chocolate cookies at the bottom.
- Add a layer of the chocolate mint mixture over the cookies.
- Repeat the layers until the cup is filled, finishing with a layer of the chocolate mint mixture on top.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves on the top before serving.
